The P2P Operations Analyst will investigate and resolve payment and reconciliation exceptions, complete supplier and bank-detail checks, manage operational queries and escalations, and maintain accurate supplier data. The role requires a detail-focused transactional finance professional who can apply strong controls, work confidently across multiple currencies and systems, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to protect Travel Counsellors from financial, fraud, and compliance risk.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Resolve unmatched credit card transactions to complete Travel Counsellors VCC reconciliations accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Reconcile multi-currency VCC payments and calculate the appropriate home-currency equivalent, investigating and resolving exchange or settlement differences.
  • Complete card statement reconciliations and authorise transactions against client bookings in line with agreed financial controls.
  • Liaise with internal departments and international head offices to resolve VCC payment queries, discrepancies, and aged exceptions.
  • Create manual virtual credit cards where required, ensuring appropriate approvals, accuracy, and auditability.
  • Manage incoming AP tickets, triaging each request to the correct resolution route and maintaining timely, clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage Freshchat queries and operational escalations, including payment escalations, ensuring issues are prioritized and driven through to resolution.
  • Handle internal stakeholder escalations professionally, identifying financial or operational risk, and escalating material issues appropriately.
  • Support Travel Control / Creditors compliance and management activities, ensuring processes are completed in line with agreed governance requirements.
  • Provide audit support by maintaining clear evidence, accurate records, and timely responses to information requests.
  • Complete supplier onboarding checks and communicate with Commercial on new suppliers, ensuring governance requirements are met before activation.
  • Perform bank-detail verification and fraud-prevention controls, escalating exceptions or concerns in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Process supplier master data changes and maintain ongoing supplier-data hygiene, ensuring records remain complete, accurate, and appropriately controlled.
  • Support Purchase Ledger activities as required, ensuring transactions and supplier records are processed accurately and in line with P2P controls.
  • Monitor exceptions, recurring issues, and operational trends, using root cause analysis to identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve the end-to-end P2P process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
