Citation Group
Citation Group is a collective of businesses dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises across a range of essential services. We know that running a business means juggling a lot, from keeping customers happy and staying compliant, to building strong teams and growing sustainably. Our mission is to ease these pressures by providing expertise, guidance, and solutions that enable business leaders to focus on strategic success. From HR and Health & Safety to Cybersecurity, E-Learning, and ISO compliance, we’ve got you covered.
The Role
You don't need to have "Personal Assistant" on your CV already to be right for this role. What you need is a talent for staying organised when everything's moving fast, the judgement to know what matters most, and the discretion to be trusted with things that matter.
We're looking for someone to support a group of senior leaders at Citation Group, the Chief of Technology, Chief of Product, Chief AI Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Transformation Officer, working closely with our Executive Assistant, who'll support you directly, plus a wider team of PAs and Office Managers around you. If you've worked in hospitality, cabin crew, events, retail management, project management, or a fast-paced customer-facing or operational role, the skills you've already built translate very directly here.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Responsibilities
- Diary management: coordinating and protecting time across five busy senior leaders, knowing instinctively what takes priority and where time needs to be guarded.
- Project support: tracking actions and deadlines across different workstreams, holding your leaders accountable to the timelines they've agreed, and helping get things moving when schedules are tight.
- Board support: preparing materials, chasing the team for what's needed, and handling sensitive information with care.
- Event planning: supporting company events, including the legendary annual Christmas party and internal conferences.
- Travel management: booking and organising travel for the leadership team, from London to Australia and beyond.
- Office management support: pitching in on day-to-day office needs alongside the team, especially during heavy annual leave periods.
