Part-time · 8 hours a week · £20 per hour · [Remote / Bristol - London / Hybrid] with scope to increase over time.
I'm a writer, performer, podcast host and creative producer looking for a PA to help me with admin, social media, outreach and logistical support so I can put my energy into the creative work.
I’m neurodivergent and with chronic health issues, so I need someone who understands how to communicate effectively when I’m having a health flare up, and how to re-organise the week in keeping with goals and priorities when things shift.
What you'll be doing
- Systems: Supporting me to create better systems so that everything runs smoothly.
- Social media: Going through a backlog of photos and content, putting it together and posting beautifully and intentionally. You'll also schedule podcast episodes and releases, following my editorial direction.
- Outreach: Researching and contacting collaborators, with a small number of carefully chosen, personal messages rather than mass emails.
- Admin: Keeping my inbox organised, drafting email replies and follow-ups, managing my calendar and bookings.
- Applications: Helping me draft and organise grant and funding applications, keeping track of deadlines and handling submissions.
- Logistics: General day-to-day support with travel arrangements, food planning (an essential part of managing my health), and administrative housekeeping.

Who I'm looking for
I'm looking for someone who’s as much of a friend as a support worker. Someone who communicates clearly, who understands the mental health dips that come with chronic health and neurodivergence and who’s how to talk through that whilst acknowledging boundaries. I work best with phone calls, so you'll often turn my verbal briefs into clear written next steps, and you'll be comfortable flagging problems early.
Just as important: someone who understands social media as a way to connect without getting caught up in algorithms and statistics. You’ll have an eye for curation and care about how things look and read, and who thinks strategically about who we're reaching and why.

Must have
- Strong organisation and administration skills
- Social media experience and a good visual eye
- Confident copywriting, and the ability to write in someone else's voice
- Experience working with someone with chronic health issues
- A deep understanding of neurodivergence and the challenges that we face
Desirable
- Background in the creative sector: visual arts, media, film or performance
- Holistic knowledge of nutrition and health
- Experience with grant applications
- Media, communications or arts students are very welcome to apply
