About the role
Are you an experienced PA who thrives in a busy, fast-moving environment where no two days are the same? We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and digitally confident Personal Assistant to provide high-quality executive support to our Chief Commercial Officer and Commercial Directors. This is a varied and influential role at the heart of our Commercial Leadership Team, helping senior leaders. You’ll provide proactive executive support across a broad range of activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality executive support to Commercial Directors
- Diary coordination, meeting management and administrative requirements across the directorate
- Coordinate Commercial Leadership Team meetings, workshops, away days and governance activity, including agendas, papers, actions and follow-up
- Prepare briefings, reports, presentations and communications for senior internal and external audiences
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, external partners and colleagues across BHF
- Champion smarter ways of working by using Microsoft 365, Copilot, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency
- Support the effective day-to-day coordination of the Northampton office

About you and required skills
You’ll have significant experience providing executive support to senior leaders, ideally at C-suite or Director level, within a complex organisation.
You’ll bring strong digital fluency, with confidence using Microsoft 365 tools and an interest in exploring how AI and automation can support better ways of working.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced, complex environment
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines
- Excellent judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to identify smarter ways of working
- Resilience, adaptability and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Most importantly, you’ll bring a proactive, collaborative and values-led approach.

Working arrangements
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least two days per week in our Northampton office. Occasional travel to our other offices, including our London head office, will also be required in this role. This may vary from time to time so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
