This placement year opportunity is intended to take place between the second and last year of your university undergraduate degree.

Pacific Life Re is a global reinsurance group, working with clients in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. We specialise in providing our clients with innovative products and services for Life, Critical Illness, Income Protection, and Longevity. We have support and backing from our parent company, Pacific Life, which has been around for over 150 years.

What are we offering?
We offer a placement year in our UK Finance Team, where you will work alongside colleagues from across our global business. You will gain well-rounded finance experience, build a global mindset, and develop a cross-functional network that reaches well beyond your immediate team.
Should you succeed in your application, you will experience a dynamic, hands-on work environment whilst building a comprehensive understanding of our finance functions and the services we provide to our clients. As a valued team member, you will strive to deliver exceptional levels of professionalism.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for talented, ambitious, and hard-working university students to join the team of financial accounting experts in our London office for a year-long placement. We pride ourselves on thinking differently, so we want people who are not afraid to challenge the norm.
To succeed in this placement you will need to be numerate and have the ability to analyse and interpret data. You will also need to be a collaborative team player, a strong communicator and possess an ability to build positive working relationships.

The minimum requirements to apply for our programme are a B grade in A-level (or equivalent) Accounting, Economics, Business or Math and a predicted 2:1 in an Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business undergraduate degree.
