Walker & Sloan are working with an outstanding specialist contractor to recruit an experienced Package Manager to join one of the UK's most significant live data centre developments.

Our client has built an exceptional reputation for delivering highly complex projects across the Data Centre, Defence and Energy sectors. With over 40 years of specialist experience, they continue to deliver technically demanding schemes for some of the world's leading organisations, combining engineering excellence with first-class project delivery.

This opportunity will see you joining a flagship hyperscale data centre development in Hayes, where you'll take ownership of key construction packages, helping to deliver a landmark project from inception through to successful completion.

The Role

As Package Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe, commercial and successful delivery of your allocated construction packages, ensuring they are completed on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Teams, Design Managers and Site Teams, you'll coordinate every aspect of package delivery, from construction readiness and procurement through to technical coordination, stakeholder management and final handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex challenges and playing a key role in the delivery of major mission-critical projects.

About You

You'll have experience delivering complex construction packages for a main contractor and be confident managing multiple stakeholders, subcontractors and technical interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.

You'll possess strong commercial awareness, programme management skills and a proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to drive quality, safety and performance across your area of responsibility.

Ideally, you'll hold an HNC, Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline, together with a CSCS Black Card and SMSTS. Professional membership with CIOB, ICE, APM or similar, along with Temporary Works knowledge, would be advantageous.
