Full Time | 3 Month Temporary Contract
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Packaging Assistant to join our Packaging Team on a temporary basis. Working alongside the wider team, you’ll help ensure our packaging operation runs safely and efficiently, supporting daily production plans while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and food safety.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating packaging machinery safely and efficiently
- Supporting the team to achieve daily and weekly packaging plans
- Carrying out and recording quality checks
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, Health & Safety and Food Safety
- Identifying and reporting any issues to the Lead Packaging Operator or Packaging Manager
- Working across different areas of the Packaging Department as required
- Supporting other areas of the business when needed

- Previous Packaging or retail experience is helpful but not essential
- Forklift Experience - Helpful But Not Essential

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, hands-on and comfortable working as part of a busy team. The role involves working across different areas of the department, so you’ll need to be physically able and happy to get stuck in.
Job Type: Temporary
Schedule: 40hrs per week, full time
Salary: £26,436.80
Temporary until 31st December 2026
