We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Packaging & Brand Designer to join our team in Trafford Park, Manchester.
This role combines hands-on packaging artwork production with creative packaging and brand development. You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate packaging artwork across a wide product range while also helping evolve and refresh our packaging identity to create stronger brand differentiation and shelf presence.
The ideal candidate will have proven commercial experience in packaging design and artwork production, with a strong understanding of print processes, packaging layouts and brand consistency. We’re looking for someone who enjoys both technical accuracy and creative problem-solving.

The Role
You will work closely with Product Group Managers and the wider design team to create, update and manage packaging artwork, screenprints and supporting product graphics.
Alongside day-to-day artwork responsibilities, you will also help develop packaging systems, templates and brand guidelines to improve consistency and elevate the overall presentation of our brands.

- Produce and update product packaging artwork from supplied briefs and cutter guides, ensuring all artwork is delivered accurately, on time, and in the required format.
- Prepare artwork for print production, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and printer requirements.
- Accurately apply branding to packaging artwork, ensuring correct use of logos, typography, colour references and brand assets across all packaging.
- Accurately apply safety information, legal copy, warning symbols, barcodes, item codes and product specifications to packaging artwork.
- Create or adapt supplied screenprint drawings and apply product functions, branding and safety information.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
