Experienced Packaging Designer
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate Packaging Designer to join our fast-paced, creative packaging team.
This is a full-time, permanent position and is fully office-based in our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24.
Reporting to our Head Packaging Designer, and working closely with our Buyers, you will work on a variety of creative briefs, from seasonal lines such as Christmas and Halloween, garden, and picnic, to everyday lines such as homewares, cleaning, pet, stationery to name but a few. Packaging styles include swing tags, wrap bands, backing cards, full-colour boxes, and CDUs. The role will include own-brand design and trend-led concepts that will be rolled out over numerous products.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Creating impactful, trend-led packaging designs that align with brand guidelines and customer appeal.
- Developing creative concepts from brief through to final artwork across a variety of product categories.
- Designing packaging formats including swing tags, wrap bands, backing cards, full-colour boxes, CDUs, and point-of-sale materials.
- Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Collaborating closely with Buyers and the wider Packaging Team to deliver commercially successful packaging solutions.
- Producing accurate, print-ready artwork and ensuring all files meet production and supplier specifications.
- Researching market, colour, and design trends to drive innovative packaging concepts and own-brand development.

The skills & experience you’ll bring:
- A minimum of 4 years design agency experience, or have worked in a fast-paced, in-house environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A great portfolio showcasing unique creative ideas, a passion for design, and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage their own workload and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to adapt to changing work priorities at short notice.
- A keen eye for detail, quality, and overall standout design.
