Role Overview
As a Packaging Development Designer, you are responsible for ensuring these requirements are met or exceeded and Haleon continues to deliver superior sustainable products to consumers and experts.
Within this role, you will be supporting the packaging development of our products, providing analysis and evaluation of:
- Product/packaging usage to include consumer experience and touchpoints.
- Benchmarking our competition.
- Sustainability profile of the packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Support multiple project teams to develop new sustainable packaging solutions.
- Concept creation and development including sketching, CAD, renders, prototyping, and consumer research.
- Design and carry out experiments to characterize and understand packaging & product performance.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of models, methods, or processes.
- Be part of cross-functional project teams, with members across Commercial, Supply Chain, and R&D.
Education Requirements
You must be currently studying for your Undergraduate Degree or Combined Masters in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Engineering disciplines.

If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree, you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) or an Integrated Masters Degree and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

Application Process

- Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behavior-based online assessment and one-way video interview supported by Hirevue.
- Interview – if selected, you will be invited to attend a final stage virtual interview; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
- Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following the interview.
Interviews will be held in November/December 2026
