About The Role

As a Packaging / Labeling Technician I, you'll support the Manufacturing Business Division Operations team by performing packaging, labeling, assembly, and production support activities within a controlled manufacturing environment. You'll play an important role in ensuring products are packaged accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Feed and monitor production lines, including dispensing operations and plate handling activities.
  • Load products onto trays for drying and prepare materials for subsequent manufacturing stages.
  • Package dried plates into foil pouches and box finished products into sales units according to established procedures.
  • Assemble, bag, and package accessory products to meet customer and production requirements.
  • Perform batch number reconciliation and complete manufacturing documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Apply and verify labels to ensure product traceability and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure product quality and identify any deviations.
  • Support the manufacture of diagnostic and microbiology products in accordance with GMP, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within controlled clean areas and packaging environments.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and health and safety requirements at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the production team to meet daily operational goals.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, packaging, production, or laboratory environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to accurately complete production records and maintain documentation.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to follow procedures, work instructions, and quality standards consistently.
  • Comfortable handling repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate weights as part of daily duties.
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to meeting productivity and quality expectations.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
