Join a Leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturer as a Packaging Operator!
Our client is seeking motivated Packaging Operators to join their manufacturing operations team in Macclesfield. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment, supporting the packaging and delivery of life-changing medicines. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards, with strong potential for contract extension and future development opportunities.
Contract Details
- Contract Length: Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension and development opportunities
- Location: Macclesfield
- Shift Pattern: 7-day working pattern, rotating early and late shifts
- Rate: £17 - £23 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor and close down packaging lines in accordance with production requirements.
- Ensure the correct batch components and materials are received from the warehouse and available for production.
- Complete line clearance activities and verify all components and batch documentation prior to production start-up.
- Monitor packaging operations to ensure smooth line performance and adherence to production schedules.
- Accurately record and report daily performance data and support performance analysis activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain effective communication and efficient working practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects to enhance line performance and efficiency.

Key Requirements
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, packaging, or pharmaceutical environment.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work accurately within a regulated setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including early and late shifts across a 7-day operation.
