Experiencing high growth in the portfolio and requiring a Packaging Specialist to play a key role in the Procurement team.
The role:
The Packaging Specialist will be responsible for key tasks, spanning across design, development, testing, and optimization of packaging materials and processes.
- Working across primary, secondary and tertiary packaging (including quality testing).
- Ensure packaging is functional, cost-effective and visually appealing.
- Material selection and quality – work to choose the best materials for packaging, based on wider factors (e.g. safety), environmental factors and operational suitability (including cost).
- Stakeholder management – working closely with wider teams, including Artwork, Purchasing, Marketing and Operations.
- Partner closely with the NPD teams – supporting with project managing new branded and own label packaging.
- Finally, the Packaging Specialist will have a good understanding of wider food manufacturing operations, to enable them to support the Procurement team with ad hoc tasks.

Ideal candidate:
- You will already have 2-3 years’ experience in the Food Manufacturing industry
- Must be a foodie – interested in FMCG developments.
- Be a confident, strong minded, people person who is capable when challenged.
- Be a do-er, someone who is hands on and works quickly to achieve business goals.

Benefits & details:
- Up to £32-35k
- 4-5 days in Home Counties office
