Description
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to support production by ensuring returnable packaging assets are available, maintained, and ready for use. You will coordinate repairs of damaged items, carry out asset counts, and keep packaging documentation accurate and up to date. This role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to respond quickly to production needs. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks associated with general packaging responsibilities and assist the packaging engineers with forklift support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Packaging Engineers, including providing forklift assistance where required
- Support deliveries, receiving, and loading/unloading activities.
- Maintain packaging yard to a high standard
- Perform a range of general packaging tasks to support production requirements
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance of damaged packaging equipment
- Conduct regular asset counts/ audits and ensure accurate inventory
Skills & Requirements
- Counterbalance forklift licence/ experience essential
- Software knowledgeable Microsoft Packages.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime hours
- Good communication and teamwork skills
