We're recruiting Packing Operatives to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Perth.
This is more than just a short-term packing role. It's an opportunity to join an established manufacturing environment where quality, accuracy and teamwork really matter, with full training provided and genuine long-term prospects for the right people.
You'll be responsible for making sure products are packed correctly, labelled accurately and prepared to the required standards before dispatch. If you enjoy keeping busy, have a good eye for detail and take pride in getting things right first time, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Packing Operative, you'll be an important part of the production process.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
- Packing products accurately into boxes and tubing to specification
- Selecting the correct packaging materials by following Standard Operating Procedures
- Printing and checking labels before products are prepared for dispatch
- Reading and following work instructions and production documentation
- Checking products and packaging carefully to ensure quality standards are met
- Prioritising workloads and completing orders within required timescales
- Recording production information accurately
- Updating computer systems where required
- Identifying and reporting any issues or discrepancies
- Keeping your workstation clean, safe and organised
- Working efficiently to achieve production targets and deadlines
- Supporting colleagues across the department when required
- Following all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in candidates who are dependable, quality-focused and comfortable working within a structured, fast-paced environment.
Ideally, You Will Have
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production, packing or a warehouse environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A reliable and punctual approach to work
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to follow detailed processes and instructions
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems
- The ability to organise and prioritise your workload
- Good problem-solving skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A flexible approach and willingness to support different areas when required
Most importantly, we're looking for people who take pride in their work, can be relied upon and understand that quality and accuracy are just as important as working efficiently.
No Manufacturing Experience?
Previous manufacturing, production or warehouse experience would be beneficial, but don't let a lack of direct packing experience put you off.
Full training will be provided, so if you have transferable experience, a strong work ethic and the right attitude to learn, we'd still be keen to hear from you.
