Job Introduction
Join our Packing Team and play an important part in bringing our award-winning meals to life. Working in a modern food manufacturing environment, you'll be surrounded by people who care about quality, teamwork and doing things the right way. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, works well as part of a team and takes pride in delivering high standards every day. Full training is provided, so previous food production experience isn't essential.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week:
- Monday to Friday
- 5:30pm - 1:30am
Role Responsibility
As a Packing Team Member, You Will
- Help ensure our award-winning meals leave the kitchen looking their very best and meeting Bigham's high quality standards
- Use specialist equipment to identify and remove products that don't meet quality requirements
- Accurately add toppings, labels and packaging to create a finished product ready for customers
- Keep packing lines supplied with the materials needed to run efficiently, including sleeves, boxes and packaging components
- Safely stack finished products onto pallets and prepare them for collection by our Logistics team
- Maintain excellent hygiene, food safety and housekeeping standards at all times
- Complete production paperwork and records accurately
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and support smooth handovers between shifts
- Highlight any equipment, quality or safety concerns to the appropriate team members
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment to achieve daily targets and keep our customers supplied with great food

You'll Also Need
- Confidence using technology, machinery and production equipment, including packing and quality-check systems
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, equipment and ways of working
- The ability to regularly lift and move boxes weighing up to 20kg
- A positive, dependable approach and a strong work ethic
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
- A desire to develop your skills and build a successful career as part of the Bigham's team
Previous experience in a packing, production, manufacturing or machine-operating role would be beneficial, but isn't essential — full training will be provided.
