Role Description
The Padel Coach role at Pure Padel is an on-site position based in Lightwater. The coach will deliver engaging individual and group coaching sessions for beginners through advanced players, focusing on technical skills, tactical awareness, and overall fitness. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Planning lesson content
- Running training drills
- Organizing practice matches
- Providing constructive feedback to support player development

The coach will help promote padel programs, support events and competitions, and contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive club environment.

A Coach with Pure Padel is paid for the hours provided to the club whilst running their private coaching business on-site.
Qualifications
- Strong padel or racket sports coaching skills, with the ability to teach technique, tactics, and game strategy.
- Willingness to plan training sessions, design drills, and structuring development programs for different skill levels.
- Clear and supportive communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage individuals and groups.
- Knowledge of player safety, warm-up and cool-down routines, and injury prevention best practices.
- Relevant coaching certifications in padel or related racket sports (e.g., tennis), or willingness to obtain them.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by coaching schedules and events.
- Basic administrative and organizational skills for managing bookings, attendance, and player progress.
- First aid training and safeguarding awareness are advantageous.
