About the CCPNR
The CCPNR is a specialist community service for children with non-progressive acquired brain injuries in the East of England. It is a dynamic, innovative service provided by CPFT that has an international reputation for delivery of integrated, multidisciplinary neuro-rehabilitation for children.
CCPNR is also embedded within the Psychological Medicine for Children and Families service at Addenbrookes and is part of the children's directorate within CPFT
Role Overview
The post holder will provide leadership and specialist psychological supervision for community rehabilitation at the Cambridge Centre for Paediatric Neuropsychological Rehabilitation (CCPNR). We would consider a job share.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide highly specialist neuropsychological assessment, formulation and intervention for children and young people.
- Select and interpret complex psychometric assessments.
- Develop and deliver evidence-based neurorehabilitation plans within a multidisciplinary team.
- Offer expert consultation, advice, and training to colleagues, families, schools, and wider agencies.
- Take clinical responsibility for risk assessment, treatment planning, care coordination, and progress monitoring.
- Communicate complex information sensitively to patients and professionals.
- Contribute to service development.
- Lead research, audit, and evaluation projects.
- Provide supervision to trainees and psychologists within the team.

Clinical Standards
- Maintain high standards of clinical record-keeping.
- Use specialist IT and statistical tools.
- Support quality, safety, and governance processes, including safeguarding, incident reporting, and adherence to NICE and Trust guidelines.
- Contribute to staff development, recruitment, and ongoing training within the service.
