Paediatric Occupational Therapist
London, United Kingdom | On-site across Walthamstow, Kilburn and Bromley | Permanent, full-time | £36,000–£40,000 per year
Join a specialist private healthcare clinic supporting children and young people with autism, sensory, developmental, emotional and educational needs.
You’ll provide evidence-based occupational therapy, manage your own paediatric caseload and work closely with families, schools, Speech and Language Therapists and other allied health professionals. The role offers regular supervision, specialist autism training and a structured development pathway from Band 5 to Band 6.
This role requires travel between the clinics in Walthamstow (E17), Kilburn and Bromley.
What you'll do:
- Deliver one-to-one paediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Complete functional, sensory and sensory integration assessments.
- Develop individualised, evidence-based therapy programmes.
- Write clear clinical reports, recommendations and supporting documentation.
- Manage an independent paediatric caseload.
- Work with families, schools, Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals.
- Give practical strategies and guidance to families and educational settings.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow HCPC standards and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Contribute to service development, audits, research and quality improvement.

What you'll bring:
- Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least one year of post-qualified Occupational Therapy experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting autistic children and young people with sensory, developmental or neurodevelopmental needs.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
- Clear communication with children, families, schools and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- The ability to manage a caseload independently and contribute to a supportive clinical team.

Pay, hours and benefits
- Salary: £36,000–£40,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
- Hours: 37.5 per week, full-time and permanent. The listed schedule is Wednesday to Friday, 11am–7pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9am–5pm, with Monday and Tuesday as non-working days.
