Children’s Therapy Solutions is the UK’s leading paediatric occupational therapy practice, dedicated to helping children and young people participate in everyday occupational activities. The team works closely with families, schools, and carers to provide assessments, treatment, and practical strategies that support independence, inclusion, and quality of life. The organisation also advocates for clients by collaborating with local authorities, solicitors, and case managers to ensure occupational therapy is embedded in Education, Health and Care Plans.
Established in 2007, Children’s Therapy Solutions has a talented and committed team supporting children and young people across the UK and is now expanding its workforce.
Role Description
This full or part-time Paediatric Occupational Therapist role is a hybrid position based either at our west Midlands or North West Clinic, with the flexibility to work from home for some duties.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Assessing children and young people with a range of developmental, physical, and sensory needs
- Developing individualised intervention plans
- Providing direct therapy sessions, both in clinical settings and community environments
- Supporting families, schools, and carers with practical recommendations and training
The therapists will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to reports for Education, Health and Care Plans, and maintain accurate clinical records. Participation in service development, supervision, and ongoing professional learning is also expected.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and evaluation for children and young people.
- Understanding of relevant medical and health-related concepts that impact paediatric functional performance and wellbeing.
- Experience in Rehabilitation, Sensory Integration, and trauma informed models and approaches focusing on functional skills, independence, and participation in home, school, and community environments.
- Excellent Communication skills for working with children, families, schools, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Demonstrated competence in Paediatrics, including knowledge of developmental milestones, neurodiversity, and common paediatric conditions.
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and current professional registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant regulatory body.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model and manage a varied caseload, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Commitment to inclusive, person-centered practice and continuous professional development; previous experience in paediatric community or school-based settings is an advantage.
