Experienced Band 5 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist
Bromley, Greater London (BR2) | Permanent, full-time | £35,000–£40,000 per year
Experienced Band 5 clinicians ready to develop towards Band 6-level responsibilities are encouraged to apply.
Recruit by Nature is supporting a growing specialist paediatric therapy service in Bromley. The service works with autistic children and young people with speech, language, communication and sensory needs.
The role:
- Complete paediatric speech and language assessments.
- Deliver individual therapy for autistic children and young people.
- Develop tailored therapy programmes and clinical recommendations.
- Manage your own caseload independently.
- Write clinical reports and therapy documentation.
- Work closely with parents, schools and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Support Speech and Language Therapy Assistants where appropriate.
- Attend clinical supervision and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Contribute to service development, audits and quality improvement.
- Maintain high safeguarding and professional-practice standards.

About you
You’ll need:
- Current HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting autistic children, or children with communication, sensory or neurodevelopmental needs.
- Experience completing assessments and writing clinical reports.
- Confidence managing a caseload independently.
- Strong communication and collaborative working skills.
- A compassionate, child-centred and neuroaffirming approach.
- A realistic commute to Bromley BR2 and genuine availability for the Wednesday-to-Sunday pattern.

Working Pattern:
This is a full-time, permanent, clinic-based role in Bromley, BR2, working 37.5 hours per week:
- Wednesday to Friday: 11am–7pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 9am–5pm
- Monday and Tuesday: non-working days
The Wednesday-to-Sunday pattern is essential. Please apply only if you’re comfortable working weekends and having Mondays and Tuesdays off.
