Salary: £39,959–£56,515 DOE
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Sheffield – mainstream schools and therapy sites
Start: ASAP
We are looking for a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join a growing multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people with SEN, SLCN, autism and ADHD.
This role focuses on early intervention, consultation and building school staff capacity to support children with communication needs. You will manage your own caseload across mainstream school settings, delivering observations, targeted interventions, staff training, classroom audits and practical strategies.

You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents and a wider MDT, including OTs, psychologists and other specialist clinicians.
There is also an opportunity to develop experience in autism assessments, including ADOS-2, outside of term time.
About you
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist, registered with HCPC and RCSLT
- Experience working with children and young people with SLCN
- Ideally, experience in mainstream schools, education or local authority settings
- Strong consultation, training and communication skills
- Interest or experience in autism/neurodevelopmental assessment is desirable
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across Sheffield essential
