Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Associate Contract

£70 per hour plus paid travel time (£40ph) and mileage (55ppm)

About KT Healthcare

KT Healthcare is a family-owned healthcare provider specialising in neurodevelopmental assessment, SEND therapeutic services and complex care. We provide person-centred, evidence-based and neuroaffirming services across the UK.

We work closely with children, young people, families, schools, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality therapeutic support that makes a meaningful difference to everyday life.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our SEND Therapies team on an associate basis, supporting children and young people within school and wider community settings.

The role will involve providing a combination of direct therapy, assessment, consultation, AAC support, staff and parent training, and written recommendations, working collaboratively with the child, family, school and wider multidisciplinary team.

The successful therapist will be comfortable working with children who have complex communication and developmental needs, and will have experience supporting children with a range of speech, language, communication and feeding needs.

The role will initially involve monthly support visits, with the exact working pattern agreed between the therapist, school, family and young person. Further opportunities for work will become available as our therapy service continues to grow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
