Job Opportunity: Paid Acquisition Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Paid Acquisition Lead based in the United Kingdom.

About the Role

The Paid Acquisition Lead will own the full paid acquisition funnel, from advertising and landing pages through qualified pipeline and closed revenue. This role goes beyond media buying, combining campaign management, conversion optimization, attribution, experimentation, and revenue analysis.

You will work directly with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Development to identify and remove barriers throughout the customer acquisition journey. The position offers significant ownership over channel strategy, audience development, creative testing, landing page performance, and budget allocation.

Success will be measured by business outcomes such as sales-accepted pipeline, closed-won revenue, and customer acquisition cost rather than surface-level advertising metrics.

You will operate in a remote-first, data-driven environment where experimentation, accountability, and independent decision-making are highly valued. This is an ideal opportunity for a growth-minded acquisition professional who wants to build and continuously improve a measurable revenue-generating system.

Accountabilities

  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across channels such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms when supported by the business case.
  • Own the acquisition funnel end to end, diagnosing issues across targeting, creative, landing pages, offers, tracking, follow-up, and channel performance.
  • Continuously optimize landing pages and conversion flows in collaboration with Marketing and Development.
  • Build and manage retargeting audiences, first-party data audiences, lookalikes, and lead lists.
  • Maintain accurate attribution and conversion tracking across Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Tag Manager, GA4, CRM systems, and UTM structures.
  • Develop and manage a structured testing roadmap, ensuring meaningful tests include a clear hypothesis, expected outcome, measurement approach, result, and next action.
  • Monitor competitors, market developments, audience behavior, messaging, and creative trends to identify new opportunities for testing.
  • Build reporting that connects advertising spend to qualified pipeline and revenue rather than relying solely on platform-level metrics.
  • Partner with Sales to evaluate lead quality, objections, show rates, qualification, and pipeline progression, translating feedback into changes in targeting, messaging, and creative.
  • Make budget allocation decisions based on pipeline and revenue performance, recommending which channels or campaigns should be scaled, maintained, rebuilt, or discontinued.
  • Establish and improve full-funnel performance baselines, including lead-to-SQL rate, cost per booked call, conversion rates, blended CAC, and lead quality by channel.
  • Maintain end-to-end funnel measurement and work toward at least 95% tracking completeness and less than 15% variance between platform and CRM conversion data.
  • Support targets including 70%+ sales call show-up rates, 80%+ SQL acceptance rates once qualification criteria are established, and four or more structured tests per month.
  • Conduct weekly lead-quality and funnel reviews with Sales and review budget allocation monthly or sooner when performance data requires action.
  • Within the first 30 days, audit existing campaigns, creative, offers, landing pages, tracking, conversion flows, and CRM connections while establishing full-funnel reporting and a documented testing roadmap.
  • Within 60 days, establish meaningful performance baselines, launch priority campaigns, test audiences and offers, deliver at least one landing-page or funnel improvement, and demonstrate how sales feedback has influenced acquisition strategy.
  • Within 90 days, establish a measurable acquisition path from advertising through closed revenue, demonstrate improvement against baseline, establish qualified-call and blended CAC metrics, and make evidence-based budget recommendations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
