Byter - Paid Media Specialist
Byter is a full-service digital marketing agency based in London, working with businesses across hospitality, fitness, beauty, retail, property, and professional services.
We’re a small, senior team. There are no layers of account managers forwarding emails. The people planning the strategy are the people running the accounts. We’re growing, and paid media is at the centre of that growth.
The Role
You’ll own Google and Meta advertising across our client portfolio, from strategy and setup through to optimisation and reporting. You’ll be the go-to expert on how every pound of ad spend turns into a booking, a lead, or a sale. You’ll work directly with clients and alongside our content and web teams.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, build, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Shopping, and YouTube
- Plan, build, and manage Meta campaigns across Facebook and Instagram
- Manage multiple client budgets at once, from small local businesses to larger brands
- Set up and audit conversion tracking with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel/CAPI
- Run structured creative and audience testing, and work with our in-house creative team on ad concepts
- Work with our web team on landing pages so the traffic actually converts
- Produce clear monthly reports that tie spend to business outcomes, and present them to clients
- Run paid media audits for prospective clients and help shape proposals

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
