Proximity Recruitment is searching for a talented, commercially minded PPC & Digital Manager (£40,000 + Bonus) to join a young, ambitious and rapidly growing business in Northamptonshire.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a hands-on marketer to take ownership of the digital presence, build campaigns from the ground up and play a key role in shaping the next stage of the business. The role is 5 days a week in East Northamptonshire.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, testing new ideas and seeing a direct connection between their work and business growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking ownership of social media presence, content strategy and organic growth.
  • Developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns across Meta and Google Ads.
  • Testing new audiences, creative, messaging, landing pages and acquisition funnels.
  • Managing content calendars, creative briefs and campaign reporting.
  • Monitoring key performance metrics including CPA, ROAS, conversion rates and customer acquisition.
  • Working closely with external agencies, freelancers and creative partners to ensure performance and delivery.
  • Identifying new marketing channels, partnerships and opportunities to accelerate growth.
  • Supporting website, landing page, CRO and funnel optimisation.
  • Using AI, automation and emerging marketing technology to improve content creation, campaign performance and internal processes.
  • Building scalable marketing processes and frameworks as the business continues to grow.
  • Continuously testing, learning and optimising rather than simply doing things because “that’s how they’ve always been done.”

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
