Job Title: Paid Media Director
Location: London (Hybrid, Flexible)
Salary: £65,000 + Bonus

The Role
As a Paid Media Director, you’ll take a senior leadership role across the Paid Media function, responsible for shaping strategy, driving performance and helping to define the future direction of the department.
This is a strategic and commercially focused position, combining senior-level campaign oversight with team leadership, business development and stakeholder management. You’ll be expected to challenge thinking, identify opportunities for growth and ensure the Paid Media function continues to deliver exceptional commercial results.

The business is open to candidates from either a PPC or Paid Social background, provided you have strong strategic experience and an understanding of the wider Paid Media landscape.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction of the Paid Media function, setting high standards for performance, innovation and best practice.
- Provide senior-level oversight across Paid Media strategy, ensuring campaigns are delivering against commercial objectives.
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities, contributing to business growth and the wider strategic direction of the company.
- Act as a senior strategic partner to key stakeholders, providing insight, recommendations and leadership across performance marketing activity.
- Lead, mentor and develop Paid Media specialists, supporting career progression and building a high-performing team.
- Drive the evolution of the Paid Media offering by introducing new channels, technologies, processes and approaches.
- Oversee performance reporting and analysis, using data and insight to identify opportunities, solve challenges and improve results.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform developments and emerging technologies, ensuring the business remains at the forefront of Paid Media.
- Contribute to wider company strategy and collaborate with senior leadership across other digital disciplines.
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience managing and developing Paid Media campaigns within an agency or in-house environment.
- Strong background in either PPC or Paid Social, with a broad understanding of the wider Paid Media landscape.
- Proven experience developing Paid Media strategy and delivering measurable commercial results.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing Paid Media teams.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities and influence strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating at senior level.
- Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager or Looker Studio is desirable.
- Strategic, proactive and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in innovation and continuous improvement.
