Paid Media Director – E-commerce
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000
Location: Fully Remote

I am working exclusively with a highly regarded, fast-growing digital advertising agency on a confidential search for a Paid Media Director.
This is a senior strategic position for an experienced paid media leader who wants genuine ownership of client strategy, commercial performance, and team development. The agency works with a range of ambitious, premium, and high-growth e-commerce and consumer brands, helping them scale through sophisticated paid media, creative strategy, and data-led decision making.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building paid media strategies from the ground up, aligned to commercial objectives
- Leading strategy across Paid Social, Meta, Paid Search, and wider performance channels
- Understanding and challenging performance data rather than relying solely on platform reporting
- Managing CAC, LTV, profitability, and commercial performance
- Leading senior client relationships, presentations, and QBRs
- Diagnosing performance issues and independently developing solutions
- Advising clients on the role of paid media within their wider marketing strategy
- Working closely with creative teams to develop stronger paid social concepts, messaging, and campaigns
- Mentoring and developing Senior Managers and Executives
- Raising standards across strategy, reporting, client management, and performance

I am looking for a commercially minded paid media strategist who can operate confidently at a senior level. You'll ideally have:
- 7+ years' professional experience managing Meta campaigns
- Strong experience across Paid Social and Paid Search
- Significant experience working with e-commerce / DTC brands
- Experience within an agency or lean, fast-moving in-house environment
- Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, attribution, and incrementality
- Experience presenting strategy to senior clients and stakeholders
- The ability to turn complex performance data into clear commercial recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience mentoring or developing more junior members of a team
- The confidence to challenge clients and tell them what they need to hear
