About Global Touring
Global Touring is home to three travel brands: Topdeck Travel, Back-Roads Touring and Grasshopper Adventures. Across our brands, we create travel experiences that help people see the world in different ways; from social group adventures for 18–32s, to small-group touring through lesser-known local places, to active travel experiences by bike and beyond.
While each brand has its own audience, personality and style of travel, we share one vision: to be the antidote to ordinary group tours.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Paid Media Executive to support the day-to-day delivery of paid media across Global Touring's three brands.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be on the tools rather than writing the plan: building campaigns, getting assets live on the platforms, checking that things are pacing and tracking correctly, pulling the numbers together and spotting what the data is telling us.
You'll spend most of your week inside Meta, TikTok, Google and YouTube: setting campaigns up, uploading and refreshing creative, building audiences, adjusting budgets, tidying up naming and tracking, and making sure nothing is quietly wasting spend. You'll own the regular reporting rhythm, so the team always knows how performance is tracking against target.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support the Paid Media Manager with the day-to-day build, delivery and reporting of paid media activity across our brands.
This will include:
- Building and launching paid media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube and emerging platforms
- Handling campaign setup: structure, naming conventions, audiences, placements, budgets, bids and tracking
- Uploading, scheduling and making sure every ad is live on time, as per the schedule
- Managing the day-to-day housekeeping: pacing checks, budget adjustments, ad approvals, disapprovals and flagging anything that has stopped delivering
- Supporting keyword research, search term reviews and negative keyword management on paid search
- Setting up and monitoring test-and-learn activity across audiences, formats, creative and messaging
- Pulling together weekly and monthly performance reporting, with clear commentary on what moved and why
- Maintaining dashboards and making sure tracking, naming and data feeds stay clean and reliable
- Analysing creative performance to identify the hooks, formats and messages that are working, and flagging what needs refreshing
- Working closely with the brand marketing teams
- Using AI and automation daily to streamline reporting, data cleaning and repetitive platform tasks
- Keeping an eye on competitor, and wider industry activity, platform updates and new ad formats worth testing

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable in the platforms and enjoys attention to detail and analysing data to spot trends. For this role a paid social specliasm is a distinct advantage.
You'll be working across three brands with different audiences and priorities, so you'll need to be organised, accurate and able to juggle several things at once without dropping the detail. Some activity is always-on, some is campaign-led, and things do change quickly - within the travel industry we have to react and adapt to a changing global envorinment frequently.
You'll be someone who notices when a number looks wrong, checks it, and says something. You don't need to have all the answers yet, but you should be curious, willing to dig into the data and keen to build the commercial instinct that comes with it.
Experience And Skills
You'll need:
- 2–3 years' hands-on experience in paid media, performance marketing or digital acquisition, in-house or agency
- Strong practical experience building and running paid social campaigns, particularly Meta and TikTok
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and paid search execution, with the appetite to develop it further
- Confidence setting campaigns up correctly first time: structure, targeting, budgets, tracking and QA
- Comfort working with performance data, and the ability to turn a spreadsheet of numbers into a clear, useful summary
- Curious to use AI tools and automation to speed up reporting and repetitive tasks — this is a core part of the role, not a bonus
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational habits
- Clear, straightforward communication
- A commercial mindset and an interest in the metrics that matter: booked revenue, CPA, ROAS and ROI
- Curiosity about new platforms, formats and ways of working
It would also be helpful if you have:
- Experience working across multiple brands or markets
- Experience in travel, ecommerce, retail, lifestyle or direct-to-consumer businesses
- Familiarity with GA4, reporting dashboards (Looker Studio or similar) or attribution tools
Why Join Global Touring?
Global Touring gives you the opportunity to work across three distinct travel brands, each with its own audience, product and growth opportunity, more variety, and a lot more learning, than a single-brand role.

Global Touring Values
Our values aren't just words on a page. They're the backbone; the steering wheel; the soundtrack to how we embrace each day.
Stay Curious
We are natural born explorers. Our people question old solutions, apply alternative thinking and embrace being challenged in the search for outcomes. We're excited by the journey on and off the road – expanding our knowledge, adapting to feedback and questioning the status quo. Value ideas over hierarchy. Have the courage to take risks.
Don't let perfection prevent growth.
Choose transparency
We take the right way, not the easy way. We're straight up even through the toughest conversations; tackling challenges head-on and with integrity. Honour commitments. Communicate with clarity. And build relationships based on mutual respect. Forget hidden agendas, we treat everyone fairly – despite a preference for instant coffee.
Don't pass the buck
If we do it, we do it well. We are empowered to make decisions based on data and experience – holding each other accountable along the way. Spare the excuses. Be fearless in the pursuit of results. And take responsibility – even when no one's looking. There will be bumps in the road; that's ok. We own our mistakes and learn from the challenges as well as the successes.
Together we go further
Across oceans and office desks, it's more than a love for travel that keeps us connected. There are no silos here; we are each other's toughest critics and loudest supporters especially around the ping pong table. People with diverse backgrounds, different identities and varied experiences make our company exceptional. We embrace alternate perspectives, recognise each other's strengths and champion collective genius.
