Paid Media Executive

Hybrid | Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Description

Footasylum is a leading UK-based retailer specialising in streetwear and sportswear, committed to delivering innovative and trend-setting products to our customers, with a strong focus on digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.

We are looking for a Paid Media Executive to join the Digital Trading Team. As a Paid Media Executive, you will support the planning, activation and optimisation of paid media campaigns that drive profitable traffic, customer acquisition, and revenue across Footasylum's digital channels.

The Team

The Paid Media Team sits within the wider Digital Department and operates out of our Head Office in Rochdale. The team works closely with Ecommerce Trading, CRM, Creative, Marketing, Buying, and Merchandising teams to drive profitable customer acquisition and revenue across Footasylum's digital channels.

About You

You will have a strong interest in digital marketing, customer acquisition, and performance media.

Along with;

  • Analytical and curious, using data to understand performance and inform optimisation decisions.
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with creative, trading, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the setup, activation, and day-to-day management of paid media campaigns across channels including Paid Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and Paid Social.
  • Monitor campaign performance against revenue, ROAS, CPA, traffic, and customer acquisition objectives, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  • Complete regular budget and pacing checks to ensure spend remains aligned to agreed plans and trading priorities.
  • Optimise campaigns across audiences, products, creative, bidding, budgets, and placements to improve efficiency and commercial performance.
  • Support product feed and catalogue-led campaign activity, working with relevant teams to identify and resolve product or data issues.
  • Work closely with Ecommerce Trading, Creative, CRM, Buying, and Merchandising teams to align paid media activity with campaigns, product launches, promotions, and stock priorities.
  • Produce regular performance reports and clearly communicate key drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Support campaign testing across creative, audiences, landing pages, formats, and media strategies, documenting learnings and next steps.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to understand promotional activity, messaging, channel trends, and customer acquisition opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate campaign naming, tracking, and measurement standards to support reliable reporting and attribution.
  • Support agency, platform, and technology partners where required, ensuring actions and deliverables are followed through.
  • Stay up to date with changes across major advertising platforms and proactively share relevant opportunities with the wider team.

Skills/Experience

  • Experience in paid media, performance marketing, or digital marketing, ideally within retail, fashion, or another fast-paced ecommerce environment.
  • Working knowledge of major advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Understanding of core performance marketing metrics including ROAS, CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and revenue.
  • Confident using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics / GA4.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel for campaign analysis, reporting, and budget tracking.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and turn data into actions.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for testing, learning, and continuously improving campaign performance.
