ROLE OVERVIEW

The OMD UK Connected Performance team are looking for a Biddable Account Manager. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering performance and innovation through advanced optimisation, audiences, testing and technology with a focus on Paid Search and Paid Social but scope to learn other Digital channels. The role covers working in a team on the day-to-day delivery of your client’s business objectives from digital performance and brand activity, hands on planning, buying and strategy of paid campaigns, with support from the Biddable Director & Senior Account Executive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the wider activation team on day-to-day implementation, alongside driving client performance to meet targets and expectations:
    • Analytical: Have an analytical mindset that is comfortable with numbers and lots of data.
    • Implementation: Working with established and emerging biddable media platforms to make day to day changes, analyse information and design test & learn roadmaps.
    • Growth: Be eager to learn and to grow within the role, to develop your understanding of the social market, alongside client understanding.
    • Client Management: The role will include client communication, so the candidate will need to feel comfortable speaking to clients on a weekly basis.
    • Team Player: Be a team player and develop talent within the marketing team to help them achieve their full potential.
    • Pro Active: Be pro-active and confident with views and ideas.
    • Pitching: Experience pitching campaign activation ideas to clients and delivering presentations, whilst promoting an understanding of how biddable advertising feeds into the wider marketing mix. We expect you to be up to speed with the latest advertising technologies, targeting & creative options (and knowing how to make best use of them).

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

You will be the primary day-to-day contact for the clients, responsible for delivering high quality work, market-leading performance and future-facing ideas for tomorrow. You will be supporting the wider activation team, alongside driving client performance to meet targets and expectations. You will be:

  • Analytical: Have an analytical mindset that is comfortable with numbers and lots of data.
  • Implementational: Working with the Google, Microsoft and Search Ads 360 platforms to make day to day changes, analyse information and design test & learn roadmaps.
  • Growth-Minded: Be eager to learn and to grow within the role, to develop your understanding of the Search market, alongside client understanding.
  • Comfortable with Client Management: The role will include client communication, so the candidate will need to feel comfortable speaking to clients on a weekly basis.
  • A Team Player: Be a team player and develop talent within the marketing team to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Have Platform Experience: Relevant biddable platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok – bid management experience (e.g. SA360, Sprinklr, Smartly) is not essential, but advantageous. Candidates should be comfortable in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Pro Active: confident with views and ideas.
  • Able to pitch search/social ideas to clients and deliver presentations: whilst promoting an understanding of how search advertising feeds into the wider marketing mix. We expect you to be up to speed with the latest advertising technologies, targeting & creative options (and knowing how to make best use of them).
