Paid Media Manager

Location: Scunthorpe

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

Salary: £45,000+


Our client has long been established as a market leading retail group, with an increasing portfolio of product categories and a very ambitious growth strategy.

They pride themselves on delivering the best product and service to stay ahead within their sector. Now looking for an experienced Paid Media/ PPC Specialist to join their talented digital marketing team.


About the Role

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking and commercial impact. You'll take ownership of the brand's entire Paid Media strategy (focus on PPC), it offers full autonomy to manage and shape the Paid Media strategy. You’ll have the support of the wider Digital team and their long-standing partnership with their Digital Media agency.

Highlights of the Role:

  • Support the group's Paid Media strategy, driving new initiatives within the channel
  • Full paid channel ownership. Multi-channel but a focus on PPC
  • Budget management, £multi-million+ PPC spend
  • Strategic lead, working with the group's Digital agency

Experience I’m interested in:

  • Support in the continued development of the Paid Media strategy, including the review and performance over accounts.
  • Manage the PPC automation and devise and deliver key automation initiatives.
  • Implement innovative strategies to achieve business targets and growth across our paid media accounts.
  • Conduct keyword research, market research, audience segmentation and competitor analysis.
  • Focus on driving PPC performance forward, making impactful change where opportunities are presented.
  • Support PPC activity that aligns with the overall brand strategy

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experienced managing and developing a Paid Media strategy – specifically PPC
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Google Analytics with a passion for data analysis and data-driven decision making
  • Confident in providing accurate monthly forecasts and reporting
  • Ideally, experience managing a 3rd party digital agency.
