Job Title
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Paid Media Manager based in United Kingdom.
About the Role
This is a hands-on paid media role focused on driving measurable growth for home services businesses.
- You will own Google Ads strategy and execution, with Google Local Services Ads (LSA) as a central part of the role.
- You’ll manage campaigns end to end, from account structure and targeting to optimization, testing, and budget allocation.
- The role also includes Meta Ads, performance reporting, and close collaboration on landing pages and lead-generation systems.
- Success will be measured through meaningful business outcomes such as qualified leads, booked jobs, ROAS, and cost per lead.
- You’ll work independently across multiple client accounts in a fast-paced agency environment, with significant ownership over paid media strategy.
This is an individual contributor opportunity for an experienced specialist who wants to make a visible impact without people-management responsibilities.
Accountabilities
- Own end-to-end Google Ads strategy and execution across Search, Display, Shopping, and other relevant campaign types.
- Manage and optimize Google Local Services Ads, including budgets, bids, lead quality, disputes, and Google Guaranteed or Google Screened compliance.
- Build, manage, and optimize Meta Ads campaigns across Facebook and Instagram to complement the broader paid media strategy.
- Develop campaign structures and conduct rigorous A/B testing across ad copy, audiences, landing pages, offers, and other performance variables.
- Monitor budgets, bids, and campaign performance closely, reallocating spend to maximize ROAS and control cost per lead.
- Connect advertising performance to real business outcomes by tracking the customer journey from clicks and leads through to booked jobs.
- Build and maintain accurate performance reports for both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Partner with the broader marketing team on offer strategy, landing page optimization, lead follow-up, and conversion processes.
- Apply home services expertise to campaign strategy, including seasonality, service-area targeting, call tracking, local competition, and demand patterns.
- Independently manage paid media strategy and execution across multiple accounts without direct people-management responsibilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
