About the Job

As a Paid Media Lead at Hallam, you will be responsible for overseeing a top-tier client portfolio, leading paid media strategy/media planning, and managing both campaign delivery and client communication across their portfolio.

Purpose:

  • Produce media plans that align with client business goals
  • Drive results from paid media efforts across the client portfolio
  • Foster innovation and collaboration to align with client needs and agency goals
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering a positive team culture
  • Ensure client satisfaction and proactively pursue account growth opportunities

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain open, cross-department communication, building strong client relationships and leading upsell initiatives.
  • Product Development & Innovation: Contribute to digital product enhancements that align with industry trends.
  • Strategy & Campaign Delivery: Execute paid media strategies, identifying opportunities for growth within the pod.
  • Thought Leadership & Mentorship: Promote agency visibility through thought leadership and foster team professional growth.
  • Paid Media Strategy: Owns overall paid media strategy and roadmap for clients, leading paid strategy within our client-facing squads. Thinking beyond Google - producing strategies which extend across multiple channels.
  • Manages Paid Media Strategies: Manages paid media strategies end-to-end including research, implementation, and reporting - working closely with strategy leads (Head of Strategy) on deeper research where needed.
  • Prioritizes Activities: Prioritizes activities based on client’s performance, KPIs, and impact.
  • Identifies New Opportunities: Identifies new opportunities and connects media plans to business plans.
  • Contributes to Thought Leadership: Contributes to paid thought leadership and delivers industry and specialist insights that are valued by our clients and peers.

Works Closely With:

  • SEO and data teams to develop and implement unified search strategies.
  • The Creative Team, ensuring UX and landing page best practices are being implemented.
  • The Account Managers and Sales Teams, supporting with new business and upsell opportunities, including large client pitches.
  • The Head of Paid Media in identifying service improvements and contributing to the objectives of the team as well as mentoring and training peers.
