THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Paid Media Specialist to join a growing performance marketing agency in the Derby area.
You will take full ownership of a portfolio of retained clients, including some of the agency’s largest-spending accounts. You will manage everything from strategy and campaign builds through to optimisation, measurement, reporting and client relationships.
The portfolio includes both e-commerce and lead-generation clients, so you must have broad hands-on experience across paid search, paid social, Shopping campaigns, product feeds and conversion tracking.
You will also contribute to new-business pitches and lead the onboarding of newly won clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and manage a portfolio of paid media accounts from strategy through to reporting
- Manage campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and LinkedIn
- Deliver Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Display, Video and paid social campaigns
- Manage e-commerce campaigns across Google, Microsoft and Meta Shopping
- Maintain Merchant Center accounts, product feeds, feed rules and diagnostics
- Conduct keyword research, search-term analysis and negative-keyword management
- Select bidding strategies and set appropriate performance targets
- Manage budgets, pacing, forecasting and overall account profitability
- Monitor creative fatigue, audience performance and campaign learning phases
- Build and troubleshoot conversion tracking using GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Implement Meta Pixel, Conversions API and offline conversion tracking
- Produce monthly reports and lead quarterly client reviews
- Identify performance issues and proactively implement solutions
- Lead new-client onboarding and develop initial 90-day strategies
- Support new-business pitches, audits and opportunity analysis
- Brief designers on paid social and display creative requirements
- Collaborate with SEO, Client Services and Development teams

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Five or more years of hands-on PPC and paid media experience within an agency
- Experience managing accounts from strategy through to delivery
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising
- Hands-on experience with Meta and LinkedIn campaigns
- Experience across both e-commerce and lead generation
- Strong Shopping and product-feed experience across Google, Microsoft and Meta
- Experience using a feed-management platform such as DataFeedWatch or Channable
- Confidence building and troubleshooting tracking through GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Experience managing senior client relationships
- Previous involvement in new-business pitches and client onboarding
- Strong commercial awareness and budget-management skills
