We are proud to partner with one of our exciting clients to appoint a Paid Media Specialist to their growing Marketing team.

Position Overview: Paid Media Specialist

This is a high-impact, hands-on role within a multi-functional Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Performance Marketing Manager, the Paid Media Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all paid performance media activity—from strategic planning and implementation to real-time optimization and reporting. The primary objective is to maximize the effectiveness of paid media to drive member acquisition and meet both short- and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management & Optimization (80%)

  • Strategic Planning: Identify suitable media channels to fit KPI objectives and work closely with senior management to phase budgets across channels.
  • Hands-on Implementation: Directly manage campaign creation and buying across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta (excluding OOH and Broadcast).
  • Day-to-Day Optimization: Monitor daily performance, execute creative and bid strategy tests, and make real-time adjustments to maximize ROI.
  • Technical Setup: Ensure all tracking, tagging, and pixels are in place pre-launch and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  • Performance Reporting: Lead review sessions with stakeholders and provide structured reporting alongside ad hoc insights.
  • AI Workflow Development: Build and deploy AI-driven workflows to improve automation, creative iteration, and performance diagnostics.

Administration & Compliance (20%)

  • Budget Tracking: Manage invoice processing, platform housekeeping, and budget reconciliation.
  • Compliance: Prepare brand sign-off documents, monitor process consistency, and liaise with auditors for periodic requirements.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Platform Expertise: Deep, practical experience managing campaigns within Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with GA4, Looker Studio, pixel setup, UTM standards, and event-based tracking.
  • Advanced Strategy: Ability to translate high-level business goals into structured paid media strategies across multiple budgets and audiences.
  • Audience Segmentation: Expertise in building remarketing, lookalike, and intent-based segments.
  • Mindset: An experimental self-starter with a "growth mindset" who is comfortable moving quickly with imperfect information.

Desirable Experience

  • Background in Paid Media agencies.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, or B2B targeting.
  • Experience in Ecommerce marketing.
