SENIOR PAID MEDIA SPECIALIST (PPC)
Location: Heathfield (Newton Abbot)
Department: Marketing
Contract: Full time, permanent
Hybrid: 3 days in the office per week
Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, multi-channel business based in Devon. Looking for a bright, commercial, and digitally savvy Paid Media Specialist to drive performance across multiple brands and platforms.
You will take ownership of paid activity day to day, from ideation and launch through to optimisation and reporting. Using data and insight, you will help shape strategy, test new ideas, and become the go-to paid media expert within the business.
Working closely with eCommerce, marketing, design, and buying teams, you will bring campaigns to life through compelling copy, strong creative, and smart targeting. The goal is to increase sales and brand visibility through well-planned campaigns and intelligent optimisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage day to day spend, optimisation, and reporting across paid channels including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Amazon Advertising
- Partner with wider teams to create engaging ad copy and high-quality visual assets that drive performance
- Proactively review accounts to identify trends and opportunities, reporting daily KPIs, and turning insight into action
- Lead campaign ideation, setup, and execution across all paid channels, applying best practice as standard
- Deliver competitor and campaign analysis, identifying recommendations, and implementing improvements
- Develop and deliver briefs for short-term promotions, seasonal campaigns, product launches, and always-on activity
- Use customer data and insights to build audiences and deliver the right message to the right people at the right time
- Produce clear, accurate, and digestible reports for the wider business
- Share insights, new ideas, and relevant industry trends with stakeholders
- Own budget management across the paid mix, driving improved ROAS and reforecasting where required
- Adhere to internal policies and procedures, including Health and Safety and Quality Management
- Support additional tasks required for the successful delivery of the role

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 2 years paid media experience, agency, or in-house
- Strong experience working within an e-commerce environment
- Strong Google Ads experience is essential
- Knowledge of Meta and Amazon Advertising is desirable
- Comfortable managing multiple brands across different categories
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with confidence using Google Analytics and data sets
- Solid understanding of the wider digital marketing mix
- Strong attention to detail with good copy and creative sensibility
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong time management skills with flexibility during peak trading periods
- Proactive, can-do attitude with a self-starter mindset
- Confident working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive sense of humour
- Flexible approach to workload during seasonal peaks
