Paid Media Strategy Specialist - Amazon

Edinburgh (hybrid)

£40,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience

Please note you must have a UK Visa to be considered for this role.

An exciting opportunity to join an international business! This strategic role will take ownership of Amazon advertising performance across multiple marketplaces, driving growth through data analysis, experimentation automation and AI. You'll shape the long-term advertising strategy while leading a small team responsible for campaign execution and optimisation. This role may be suited to those already working as an Amazon Specialist, Amazon Account Manager or Ecommerce candidates who have expertise in Amazon ads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve the Amazon Advertising strategy across sponsored products, brands and display.
  • Analyse campaign and commercial performance to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability.
  • Design and lead testing programmes to optimise targeting, creative, automation and emerging ad formats.
  • Drive the adoption of AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, insight generation and performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of PPC specialists, setting priorities and strategic direction.
  • Present performance insights, recommendations and growth opportunities to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience gained in-house or agency-side within an e-commerce environment with a specific focus on Amazon.
  • Strong understanding of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns.
  • Experience developing PPC strategy and identifying opportunities for commercial growth.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation tools or advanced workflows to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and work autonomously.
