Job Description
Role Overview
MG OMD are searching for an account manager, a PPC superstar who empowers and inspires people around them, is not afraid to challenge the status quo, and has a passion for paid search. This person will find themselves working closely with the major search platforms to deliver best-in-class advertising campaigns and future-facing solutions.
Responsibilities

PPC Account Manager Role:
- Work as part of the Investment team @MG OMD, comprised of 100+ specialists who work across PPC, paid social and organic performance (SEO).
- Opportunities to develop skills across the wider Investment team.
- Requires enthusiasm, a creative mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Skills and Experience:
- Prior knowledge of running advertising campaigns across Google & Microsoft search.
- Experience in producing detailed media plans.
- Knowledge of monitoring search ad performance and making changes to improve results.
- Previous experience working in a marketing agency or in-house role is required.

Skills and Attributes:
- Organised and methodical with a calm demeanor.
- Confident working with numbers.
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with producing and presenting PowerPoint presentations.
- Personable and friendly with professional manners.

Daily Tasks:
- Be the primary day-to-day contact for clients, delivering high-quality work, market-leading performance, and future-facing ideas.
- Support the wider activation team on day-to-day implementation.
- Drive client performance to meet targets and expectations.

Analytical and Implementation:
- Have an analytical mindset comfortable with numbers and data.
- Work with Google, Microsoft, and Search Ads 360 platforms to make changes, analyze information, and design test & learn roadmaps.

Growth and Client Management:
- Be eager to learn and grow within the role, developing an understanding of the search market and client understanding.
- Include client communication, requiring the candidate to feel comfortable speaking to clients weekly.

Team Player and Platform Experience:
- Be a team player and develop talent within the marketing team.
- Experience with Google, Microsoft, and SA360 platforms is a bonus.

Pro Active and Pitching:
- Be proactive and confident with views and ideas.
- Experience pitching search ideas to clients and delivering presentations, promoting an understanding of how search advertising feeds into the wider marketing mix.
Implementation
- Making changes within bidding platforms.
- Analyzing data and making recommendations and changes within platforms.
- Setting up and launching campaigns.
- Ensuring QA processes are being followed and all work is of the highest quality.
- Performance is closely monitored, and recommendations for improvements are always made, including ownership of test & learn roadmaps.
Reporting
- Supporting with pulling, analyzing, and presenting reports on a weekly basis.
- Spotting trends within the data and analyzing to deliver learnings to clients.
- Be confident in presenting reports to clients.
- Be supportive for ad-hoc and wider reporting requirements.
- Post-campaign analysis of campaigns and briefs.
- Testing frameworks and roadmap creation.

Day to Day
- End of month reconciliation of finance.
- Annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting.
- Post-campaign analysis.
- Support development of direct reports.
- Monitoring campaign performance daily.
- Assist with planning tasks carried out by the Senior Executive, Executives, and Director.
- Take part in training.
- Daily pacing.
- Liaising with clients and internal client teams.
- Being a team player.
Office Requirement
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
