Paid Search Manager
ABOUT US
Noise Media is an award-winning social-first creative and paid media agency. We build and run paid media programmes for some of the most ambitious brands in the world: Indian Motorcycle, GE Vernova, Davines, Amano, PETA, and more. Our Paid team manages tens of millions in annual ad spend across every major platform - Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond - and we hold ourselves to one standard: results that move the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an ambitious and passionate Paid Search Manager to join our Paid team. You'll play a pivotal role in strategising, executing, and optimising paid search campaigns across multiple platforms to meet our clients' marketing objectives. Working closely with the entire Paid team, you'll manage significant client budgets and be accountable for maximising performance.
WHO ARE YOU
- Proven track record managing Google Ads accounts at scale, with measurable results across multiple clients or verticals
- Strong command of AI-driven Smart Bidding strategies: Target ROAS, Target CPA, Maximise Conversions - and when to use each
- Experience building and activating first-party data: Customer Match, GA4 audience integration, CRM uploads, and consent-compliant data flows
- Solid understanding of privacy-first measurement: Consent Mode v2, server-side tagging, and how to protect data quality as third-party signals erode
- Fluent in Google Shopping and Merchant Centre - feed optimisation, performance segmentation, and Shopping-specific strategy
- Comfortable with cross-channel attribution: you know where last-click lies, and you have a view on how to measure incrementality properly
- Aware of how AI Overviews and the evolving SERP are reshaping search behaviour and what that means for keyword strategy and bid management
- Strong analytical instincts - you can turn performance data into a clear strategic recommendation, not just a reporting slide
- Excellent client communication: able to translate technical complexity into plain language that earns trust
- Collaborative by nature - you understand that paid search and paid social are stronger when they work together

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Strategy
- Own the paid search strategy across your client portfolio - campaign architecture, channel mix, bid approach, and budget allocation. Tie every recommendation to a business objective, not a platform metric.
Account Management
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously - budget allocation, campaign setup, ad copywriting, and ongoing optimisation. You're accountable for the full picture, not just the individual levers.
First-Party Data & Audience Strategy
- Build and maintain first-party audience strategies using Customer Match, GA4-linked audiences, and CRM data. Work with clients to improve data quality and consent rates so audience signals stay strong as third-party identifiers decline.
Measurement & Attribution
- Own tracking integrity across your accounts: Consent Mode v2 implementation, conversion quality audits, and ongoing measurement strategy. Advocate for attribution approaches that reflect real business impact, not channel convenience.

Google Shopping & Merchant Centre
- Manage Shopping campaigns end-to-end for relevant clients: feed health, product segmentation, bidding strategy, and performance analysis. Identify opportunities to improve product data quality that directly impact campaign performance.
Reporting & Client Communication
- Deliver regular performance reviews that go beyond the numbers: diagnose what's driving results, what's holding performance back, and what changes will move the needle. Present directly to clients with clarity and commercial credibility.
Cross-Channel Collaboration
- Work closely with the Paid Social team to build integrated performance strategies - aligned messaging, shared audience data, and coordinated budget decisions that maximise overall programme efficiency.
New Business
- Support the New Business team with paid search strategies for pitches - and contribute thinking that helps Noise win.
Innovation
- The search landscape moves fast. AI Overviews, evolving consent requirements, new platform features - you're expected to stay current and bring that knowledge to bear for clients before they ask.

- Nest Pension Scheme
- Health Insurance
