Location: UK Based, Remote Role
Job type: Subcontractor basis
Pay: £200.00 per month, per managed ad account.

About us

Irongate Marketing is a small UK paid social agency. We run Meta ads for a focused roster of clients, and we've built the business on two things: results that hold up under scrutiny, and a transparent one-to-one service our clients can actually rely on.

No account juggling across fifteen brands. No layers between the client and the person running their budget. When a client calls, they speak to the person who knows their account inside out.

We're at the point where we're ready to grow again, and we're looking for one more person to take real ownership of accounts, as a Meta ad account manager.

The role

You'll own a small portfolio of Meta ad accounts end to end — strategy, creative direction, testing, scaling, and the client relationship that sits around all of it.

This is account ownership, not account maintenance. You're not waiting for a brief to land in your inbox. You're the person deciding what gets tested next, why, and what it should teach us, and informing our design team of your desired assets for creation.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning performance on your accounts: structure, budgets, scaling decisions, and the numbers you report on
  • Leading creative strategy — concepting angles, briefing and directing creative, and building a testing roadmap that actually moves the needle
  • Getting fluent in each client's brand: their voice, their positioning, and their customer, held clearly enough in your head that you can judge work without asking
  • Managing signal quality, tracking setup and attribution so decisions are made on data you trust
  • Talking to clients directly and proactively — flagging problems early and unprompted, rather than explaining them after the fact
  • Building and refining your own frameworks, and bringing back what you learn from strong operators outside the agency

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience managing and scaling Meta ad accounts (agency, in-house or freelance. We care about the work, not where you did it)
  • Genuine depth on the platform: account structure, budget scaling, signal quality, attribution
  • Creative instinct. You can look at an ad and tell us why it's working, and what to test next
  • Someone who moves without a detailed brief and comes back with a point of view
  • A real appetite to keep learning. Reading, testing, building, and improving on what you know today
  • Clear, direct communication. With clients and with us

What we're not looking for

We'd rather be upfront than waste your time.

  • If you're comfortable letting an account coast because the client hasn't complained, this won't be a fit
  • If you need a detailed brief before you can start moving, this won't be a fit
  • If you're happy to stop learning at the level you're at today, this won't be a fit

What you get from us

  • Real ownership of your accounts, and the autonomy to make decisions on them
  • A small team where your work is visible and your input shapes how we operate
  • Complete support from our design team
  • 100% remote working, with a flexi-hour model
  • Regular performance reviews & support
  • A transparent, driven team working environment

How to apply

Apply via this LinkedIn Job application and also provide a short note covering one thing: an account you've scaled, what you changed, and why you changed it.

We'd rather read three honest paragraphs about a real account than a page of general claims!

*You may be asked to analyse a third-party ad account as part of our interview process.

We look forward to hearing from you
