Shape paid social creative for a major consumer brand

We are looking for an experienced freelance Paid Social Creative Producer to join the in-house team of a major consumer brand. This is a specialist paid social role at the intersection of creative, insight, and production, starting mid-October on an initial contract of a few months.

You will use performance data and customer insight to develop genuinely social-first creative ideas across Meta and TikTok, taking concepts through development, testing, and delivery.

What you will do

  • Turn performance data and customer insight into social-first creative ideas for Meta and TikTok
  • Take concepts from brief through development, testing, and delivery
  • Plan and run creative testing across hooks, messaging, and formats, and continually optimise live creative
  • Develop both video and static paid social creative
  • Work closely with internal social, design, production, and post-production teams, as well as external production partners
  • Present and champion insight-led creative recommendations to stakeholders

What you will need

  • Strong paid social experience across Meta and TikTok
  • Proven brand-side or in-house experience (this is essential)
  • Experience turning performance data and customer insight into creative ideas
  • A strong understanding of creative testing, including hooks, messaging, formats, and ongoing optimisation
  • Experience developing both video and static paid social creative
  • Experience working within a large consumer brand and navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong creative and production knowledge, with the confidence to take an idea from brief to delivery
  • The ability to confidently present and champion insight-led creative recommendations

You do not need to be a hands-on shooter, editor, or designer. Established production and creative teams support delivery, but you do need to understand how great social-first content gets made.

Please note

This role is focused firmly on paid social creative rather than organic social, influencer, or creator campaigns.

Working arrangements

  • Hybrid, with a minimum of one day per week in the Luton office
  • Flexibility to attend additional key meetings or creative workshops when required
  • Salary: £400 - £450/day
  • Day rate paid via umbrella; this role sits firmly inside IR35
  • Initial contract of a few months, starting mid-October
