The Role
This is a dynamic position, working within our Paid Social team. You won't just be pulling levers or pulling reports; we want you to dig into the "why" behind the numbers across the entire media mix. You will take raw data and turn it into compelling stories, actively proposing new tactics, and setting up rigorous experiments to improve performance on both search engines and social platforms.
At Impression, we believe in nurturing talent. You will be fully supported by a brilliant team of Strategists who will help you refine your technical craft across Meta, TikTok and beyond. We will help you deepen your commercial awareness, build your confidence in presenting insights, and provide you with all the tailored training you need to eventually step up into a dual-channel Strategist role.
What we're looking for
The Craft: Cross-Channel Execution & Automation
- Multi-Platform Campaign Mastery: You will confidently set up, manage, and optimise campaigns across both Social (e.g., Meta Advantage+, LinkedIn). You’ll take a hands-on approach to optimising product feeds, creative assets, and audiences to ensure maximum relevance.
- Bidding & Algorithm Management: You will select and implement the most appropriate bidding strategies based on campaign objectives. We want you to deeply understand the different levers that influence social delivery algorithms, and clearly explain the rationale behind your choices.
- Tactical Planning & Experimentation: You will actively contribute to the client roadmap by proposing data-driven tactics and cross-channel experiments that align with the overarching strategy our Senior Strategists have set.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Data Storytelling & Analytics
- Beyond the Click: You will confidently use Google Analytics and other platforms to gain deeper insights into post-click user behavior, understanding how social awareness drives search intent, and creating custom reports to find hidden areas for improvement.

- Campaign Ownership: You will take proud ownership of campaign-level KPIs across Paid Social, ensuring they are tracked accurately and that you are constantly working to improve them.
