Summary
The Paid Social Lead role is a senior position within the Performance practice at Glass Atlas. You are responsible for the outputs of your team across your client portfolio; directing client strategy and architecting the roadmap for channel success alongside Managers and Specialists.
You aren't just managing accounts; you are the key point of contact for your clients, owning relationships at all levels and translating channel activity into business value. This role requires extensive Paid Social experience, strong leadership, and the commercial acumen to provide value for clients whilst protecting and growing income streams.
Success is measured by your ability to deliver client performance, as well as your capacity to develop, motivate, retain, and recruit top tier talent within your team.
Client Responsibilities
In this role, your focus is on providing strategic direction and maintaining the "Glass Atlas Standard" across your team’s delivery.
- Act as the key partner for senior stakeholders, transforming channel performance into clear, business-critical plans.
- Navigate high-stakes client situations, providing definitive solutions that protect both the client’s ROI and the agency’s reputation.
- Hold accountability for the performance and quality of outputs across your team's entire portfolio.
- Design and direct the Paid Social channel strategy for clients and create a clear roadmap to deliver success, working with the Managers and Specialists to achieve this.
- Take ultimate responsibility for the client retention and the delivery of performance across your portfolio.
- Effectively manage-up to the Paid Media Directors, recognising situations that require escalation or wider business awareness.
- Own the client relationship including with senior stakeholders.
- Independently navigate difficult client situations and provide definitive solutions.
- Responsible for ensuring we provide value for clients whilst commercially protecting, and where possible, growing income streams.
- Provide quality checks, and consultancy to Paid Social Managers and Specialists on their account portfolio.

Operational & Team Responsibilities
You are responsible for cultivating a high-performance culture within your team, which represents Glass Atlas and our north star of doing the right thing, actively coaching and developing your direct reports. This includes comprehensive line management and taking ownership of training initiatives to upskill both your immediate team and the wider business. Operationally, you will collaborate with other departments to break down silos and identify efficiencies across the agency.
- Line management for your direct report(s) including PDPs, 1-2-1s, and reviews.
- Proactively lead, motivate and develop your team.
- Liaise with other channels at Glass Atlas to identify operational efficiencies.
- Lead training initiatives relating to the Paid Social channel, be that coordinating team channel training sessions, or upskilling the wider business via broader training sessions.
- Directly contribute to strengthening the overall agency knowledge and understanding of the Paid Social channel.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key partners; i.e. Meta and Confect for both agency and client benefit.
- Proactively seek opportunities to strengthen and develop the Glass Atlas Paid Social proposition and product offering, working with the Paid Media Directors to launch and activate initiatives.

- Work with the Paid Media Directors to understand team targets/commercials and deliver against those.
- Don't wait for instructions; proactively find and bring solutions to our clients before they even ask, and the Paid Media directors for any product improvements.
