Junior, Mid-Level or Senior Paid Social Manager
Farringdon, London • Hybrid
Paid media is the biggest driver of growth at J2X, and it's growing fast. We're looking for a Paid Social Manager to take ownership of a varied client portfolio spanning B2B brands and luxury international property, running campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta and beyond. This is a 360-role covering strategy, activation and optimisation.
About J2X
J2X is the performance marketing agency within J2 Group, a successful creative agency now in its 25th year. Six years ago, J2 launched its Performance Marketing arm, it's been the fastest-growing team in the business ever since. In January 2025, that team became J2X: a standalone performance agency operating under the same roof as J2, as part of the J2 Group.
Breaking away gave us room to move. We've gone after new sectors, added new disciplines and grown on our own terms. Today J2X covers paid search, paid social, programmatic, CRO, SEO and organic, with big growth plans ahead.
Our office spans 3 floors in Farringdon, designed by J2's own creative team. Think pool table, darts board, collaborative working and proper breakout space.
The Team
J2X is a 14-person team within the wider J2 Group of around 85 people. You'll report directly to Rob, Paid Social Manager or Oli, J2X's Business Director, depending on your level of seniority. The door is also open to take on more formal management responsibility as the role beds in.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own paid social strategy, activation and optimisation across a varied client portfolio, combining traditional B2B brands with luxury international property clients.
- Run both B2B & B2C acquisition campaigns, adapting approach and creative to each.

- Manage client relationships directly, translating performance data into clear recommendations and next steps.
- Support and mentor with scope to grow into a more formal management role over time.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Solid, hands-on experience running LinkedIn campaigns.
- Solid, hands-on experience running Meta campaigns.
- Experience working with B2B clients.
