Paid Social Manager (Meta & TikTok)
Hershesons | Fitzrovia, London | £85,000 + meaningful growth incentives
Hershesons is one of the most distinctive names in hair. Built from our London salons, editorial heritage and a clear belief that great hair should be easier, we are building a serious global product business. The ambition is substantial: create a DTC brand capable of scaling to tens of millions in revenue.
We are looking for someone to live inside our Meta and TikTok accounts every day. You will decide what we test, get it made, launch it, read what happened and go again. The goal is to take Meta from 5 figures to 6 figures a month spend, at a return that makes commercial sense, and build TikTok into a second growth channel alongside it.
This is a hands-on role reporting into the Founder & CEO. You write the hooks, briefs and scripts yourself. You upload the ads, manage the budgets and make the scale and kill calls. If you want the chance to take on full responsibility for a growing DTC brand in the beauty & wellness space, this is it.
What you'll own
You own the daily running of paid social and the creative engine that feeds it. Strategy and targets are set with growth team; execution is yours.
The creative engine
- Ship 3 to 4 new concepts a week at launch, rising to 6 to 8 as spend scales, each with 3 to 4 variations. A mix of iterations on winners and new ideas across statics, UGC, creator whitelisting, salon and stylist content, founder video and anything else that earns its place
- Write hooks, scripts and briefs yourself, quickly. Use AI for research and volume, but the words people see on screen are yours
- Find angles in reviews, customer service, salon conversations, competitor ads and our own data
- Run production: our TikTok creators, freelance editors and designers, UGC creators, and Luke and our stylists when we need them on camera

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Meta, every day
- Read the account every day. Know which ads are fatiguing before they show up in the weekly report, and have the replacement already live
- Scale winners as hard as you kill losers. Move budget, iterate on what is working while it is still working, and push proven ads into new formats and placements
- Own campaign structure, budgets, launches and optimisation in Ads Manager. You press the buttons
- Judge performance on what actually made money. Reconcile Meta against Shopify orders and flag when the numbers disagree
TikTok
- Own TikTok paid, including Spark Ads from our organic and creator content, and potentially TikTok Shop as we look to build it out
- Set the content direction for our in-house TikTok team (two creators who film and edit), so organic feeds paid and paid learnings feed back into organic.
Reporting
- A weekly report: what moved, why, and what you are doing about it. Spend, CPA and ROAS by campaign, test results and next week's plan
- A creative learnings log, so every test teaches us something whether it wins or not
Who we're looking for
A maker, not a manager. Someone who loves execution and doesn't want to move too far away from the action. Someone who has personally written, launched and scaled ads that made real money.
- 3+ years hands-on in paid social for DTC or consumer brands, in-house or agency
- You have run a Meta account spending £30k+ a month, or grown one to that level yourself
- You have made at least one ad that spent £10,000+ and can explain the angle, who it was for and why it worked, not just "good hook"
- You have made at least one organic video with 50,000+ views and can break down why it travelled
- You know your best work off by heart: the ad, the hook, the numbers
- You can write ten hooks for a product in fifteen minutes and tell us which three you would test first
- You understand TikTok as its own platform, not somewhere to repost Reels
- You read the data yourself in Ads Manager, TikTok Ads and Shopify, and change what you make because of it
- Beauty, haircare or fashion experience is a plus, not essential
