About Us
We are Disturbia; a fast-growing, independent UK fashion brand specialising in alternative & sub-culture fashion, with the aim to harness the spirit of authenticity and individuality.
Our story is about evolving and disrupting the ordinary. Founded in 2003 by creative graduates Frank and Helen, we look to disturb the suburbs with authentically unconventional attire for those drawn to the strange and unusual. Disturbia has since amassed a devoted following worldwide, attracting musicians, artists, and free spirits alike.
Over 20 years later, we are an ever-growing team across offices in Northumberland (HQ) and East London. Our in-house team of creatives, do-ers, dreamers, and makers work collaboratively to create unique products and deliver an exceptional customer experience for those who dare to stand out from the crowd.
The Role
Paid social is our primary acquisition channel, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Paid Social Creative Strategist to join our team to drive our creative marketing strategy forward. We are looking for someone obsessed with the social media landscape and equally interested in developing creative frameworks as learning from data insights and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performing paid social creative concepts, hooks, and messaging that resonate with target audiences and drive customer acquisition.
- Write clear, conversion-focused creative briefs and scripts, providing the production team with actionable direction from concept through to execution.
- Own the creative testing roadmap, developing hypotheses, prioritising new opportunities, and maintaining a consistent pipeline of experiments across formats, angles, and customer type.
- Partner closely with the creative team, providing feedback and guidance to ensure assets are executed to a high standard and optimised for performance.
- Identify emerging consumer trends, cultural moments, and platform innovations, translating insights into timely creative opportunities.
- Maintain creative planning and production schedules to ensure a steady flow of new concepts and assets aligned to trading priorities and channel demand.
- Lead the paid social creative strategy across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, supporting customer acquisition, revenue growth, and category-level targets.
- Evaluate creative performance using metrics such as CTR (click-through rate), Thumb-Stop Rate, CVR (conversion rate), CPA (cost per acquisition), ROAS (return on ad spend), to identify opportunities to scale, iterate, or retire creatives.
- Drive ongoing optimisation through structured testing throughout the user journey and across markets, placements, and landing page experiences.
- Produce regular performance reporting and actionable insights, helping shape future creative direction and channel strategy.
- Stay ahead of platform developments and best practices, ensuring Disturbia remains at the forefront of paid social innovation.
- Work closely with Creative, Brand, E-commerce, and Growth teams to align paid social activity with wider business objectives, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
- Champion a test-and-learn culture, sharing insights and best practices to continuously improve creative effectiveness and campaign performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
