Bored of dull, corporate job ads?

So are we!

Let's skip the bit where we call ourselves a "fast paced, dynamic organisation seeking a self starter with a proven track record of leveraging synergies."

Here's the truth instead…

We train therapy and assistance dogs that change people's lives.

Our marketing is what connects those dogs to the schools, families and organisations who need them.

We advertised this role recently. The response was brilliant. But lots of the applications we received didn't show us the things that matter most for this job.

That's on us. We weren't clear enough. So this time, we're going to be really clear.

The four things you absolutely must have

We're not being picky for the sake of it. This role genuinely needs all four. If you've only got one or two, it won't be the right fit, and we'd rather save you the time.

  1. Plenty of hands on paid traffic experience with Meta AND Google. Not dabbling. Not "I've boosted a few posts." You've built, managed and optimised campaigns on both platforms, with real budgets, and you can show us the results. LinkedIn Ads experience is a big bonus.

  2. A genuinely analytical brain. You can look at a set of performance numbers and draw accurate conclusions. What worked. What didn't. Why. What should be scaled, and what should be killed. You know the difference between a nice looking CPL and a CPA that's quietly tanking.

  3. CRM experience, including building workflows and automations. You've built automations, pipelines and workflows yourself. Not just used a CRM someone else set up. HighLevel is ideal. If you've used something similar and built properly in it, tell us.

  4. You can build things. We vibe code our marketing assets, tools and dashboards using Replit. So we need someone who has used Replit or a similar AI build tool (Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, that kind of thing) to actually create something. You don't need to be a developer. But you need to have built something and be able to show us.

Got all four? Brilliant. Keep reading.

What you'll actually be doing

We're hiring two experienced marketers who'll work closely together.

One will lead the creative side of our marketing.

This role leads the performance and technical side.

Paid traffic

This is the biggest part of the role.

You'll build, manage and optimise our paid campaigns across Meta and Google, with LinkedIn and TikTok in the mix too.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll own the paid media budget and decide where that money goes based on actual performance.

  • Which audiences deserve more spend?
  • Which creative is winning? And why!
  • Where is acquisition getting too expensive?
  • What should we kill?
  • What should we double down on?

We don't want someone waiting to be told the answers. We want you finding them.

You'll work closely with our Creative Marketing & Copy Lead. They'll develop the hooks, angles, offers and creative. You'll make sure we learn from what happens when real people see them. Then you'll both use that to make the next campaign better.

Numbers. Lots of numbers.

You'll own our tracking and reporting, and make sure both are reliable.

You'll build and maintain dashboards and watch the KPIs that matter across the whole funnel. Not vanity metrics.

And you'll turn data into clear recommendations for the Director and the wider team.

Not: "CTR decreased by 12%." But: "Here's what's happening. Here's why I think it's happening. And here's what I'm doing about it." That's the difference we're looking for.

CRM and automation

HighLevel sits at the heart of our marketing. You'll run it day to day.

You'll keep the database clean and properly segmented. You'll build and improve automations, workflows and pipelines. You'll make sure leads go where they should and nobody slips through the cracks because something behind the scenes broke.

Our Creative Lead will own much of the messaging in our nurture and email campaigns. You'll make sure the systems underneath actually work.

Building things

Traffic means very little if the journey after the click doesn't work.

You'll own the performance and technical side of our websites, landing pages and funnels. Keeping them live, fast and converting.

And you'll build. Landing pages. Tools. Dashboards. Little fixes that save us hours every week. If you see a repetitive task and think "I could build something for that," you'll fit right in here.

You'll love this job if...

  • You're a doer.
  • You hate leaving good ideas sitting in a document.
  • You're commercially minded and know marketing needs to create customers and revenue.
  • You're comfortable being accountable for numbers.
  • You notice the tiny details other people miss.
  • And when something isn't working, your instinct isn't to explain why. It's to fix it!

What you'll get from us

Real ownership. Real responsibility. And the chance to put your fingerprints on the growth of an ambitious business doing work that genuinely matters.

You'll inherit marketing that already works, with the freedom and expectation to make it work even better.

This is a permanent role, four days per week, working from home.

The salary is £36,000 to £42,000 full-time equivalent, pro rata for four days. That's an actual salary of £28,800 to £33,600 per year.

You'll also get:

  • Private healthcare
  • A generous holiday allowance
  • Company pension
  • To work from home
  • And a business that actually wants marketing to move quickly.

One last thing...

Whenever we advertise a role at PAWS, we're fortunate to get a huge response.

So please don't send us exactly the same thing you're sending everyone else.

To get invited to an interview, we’re looking for you to WOW us!

We want evidence that you've actually done this stuff.

Record us a video, show us a paid campaign you've grown with the numbers that made it successful, show us a workflow or automation you've built, or maybe even build us something impressive! Whatever it is, WOW us.

Because if you're serious about this role, we want to see the marketer behind the CV.

How to apply (please read this bit!)

We get a huge number of applications. So we're asking every applicant to show us the same four things. Applications without them won't be shortlisted.

Show us:

  • Your paid traffic results. A Meta or Google campaign you ran, with the numbers. Spend, results, cost per lead or acquisition, and what you changed to improve it.
  • Your thinking. Pick one campaign and tell us what worked, what didn't, and why. This is the part we care about most.
  • A workflow you built. A screenshot, a short video or a written walkthrough of an automation or pipeline you created in HighLevel or another CRM.
  • Something you built. A link to anything you've made with Replit or a similar AI build tool. A page, a tool, a dashboard. It doesn't need to be polished. It needs to be yours.

Format is up to you. Video, deck, doc, Loom. Whatever shows us how you think.

If you've got all four, we really want to hear from you.
