We are currently recruiting for two Paint Shop Operatives. The Paint Shop Operator supports the operation of our state-of-the-art water-curtained conveyor spray booth, preparing and painting a wide range of components from primer through to final coat. The role also includes decal application, product inspection and polishing, ensuring high-quality finishes with a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate within a fast-paced paint shop environment, safely loading and unloading components on a moving conveyor system.
  • Prepare, mask, paint and finish steel and plastic motorcycle components to defined technical, cosmetic and quality standards.
  • Apply decals using dry and wet application methods and prepare parts for subsequent production stages.
  • Mix paint materials, maintain spraying equipment, and manually spray components to specification.
  • Inspect, polish and pack finished components, ensuring all quality requirements are met.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous Paint Spraying experience is essential in this role
  • Maths & English GCSE grade C/4 or above
  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages
  • Be open to adopting new technologies, processes and working practices.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 39hrs per week.
