£16.00 - £19.00 per hour

Paint Sprayer
Permanent
Kinetic Industrial are looking for an experienced Industrial Paint Sprayer to join our client based in Dukinfield. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for preparing and coating a range of steel and fabricated components, including pipes, structural steelwork, tanks and bespoke engineering products. The role will typically operate between 6am and 4pm, with shift patterns dependent on workload and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare steel and fabricated components for coating
- Apply industrial protective coatings using spray equipment
- Apply primers, topcoats and other specialist coatings
- Coat pipes, structural steelwork, fabricated assemblies and engineered components
- Mix and apply coatings in accordance with specifications and manufacturer requirements
- Read and follow paint specifications, technical drawings and coating data sheets
- Carry out quality checks to ensure coatings meet required standards
- Maintain spray equipment and paint shop facilities
- Follow all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work effectively as part of the production team to meet deadlines and quality requirements

Requirements
- Previous experience as an Industrial Paint Sprayer
- Proven experience applying industrial protective coatings
- Experience working with different industrial coating systems and manufacturers is advantageous
- Coating Inspection experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 are desirable
- Good understanding of surface preparation requirements
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good awareness of Health & Safety and quality standards
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

- £16.00 to £19.00 per hour, depending on experience
